What is IOSH?
IOSH stands for the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, which is a professional membership organization based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1945 and is the world’s largest professional health and safety organization with over 47,000 members in more than 130 countries.
IOSH provides a range of resources, training courses, and qualifications to help individuals and organizations manage and improve health and safety in the workplace. Their mission is to promote a safe and healthy working environment for all by raising awareness and promoting best
practices in health and safety management. IOSH also works to influence and shape policy related to health and safety at the national and international levels, collaborating with organizations such as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).service, quality, creativity, innovation, and dedication.
